If you're looking for fine dining vibes, the one in DTLA may fit better. This one has a casual vibe with the outdoor-ish/greenery setting (although service was still nice and prompt), but the DTLA one gives off a grandiose feel with the high ceiling that this place doesn't replicate. But if you're looking for good American-Italian food, this place is pretty solid. I like that it's not a huge hassle to get to either, as there are quite a few parking lots in walking distance. We went to the one on Robertson Blvd and it was $10 all day during lunch. Food-wise, the salmon add-on was great with my avocado toast. The boyfriend got carbonara, and it was on the heavier / thicker end so no need for extra cheese for that dish.

I just happened to be walking along Santa Monica Blvd and saw that Bottega Louie had a location in WeHo. The last time I had visited this restaurant was in it's DTLA location many, many years ago. I remember that location being super loud and crowded. However, the way the WeHo restaurant was set up was just so welcoming, I couldn't help checking it out. I just loved the overall greenery, minimalistic layout, and upscale look of the place. It's a great brunch or casual nice dinner vibe and just what I was looking for at that moment. Decided to order the Truffle Egg Pizza, Bolognese, and Calamari. The calamari definitely came out way too fast and it was not hot. I would not recommend ordering this appetizer. The Bolognese was a good balance to the Truffle Egg Pizza, but honestly wish I tried a different pasta. For me, the pizza was the star of the show! I definitely could not finish it, but started chipping away at the pizza leftovers later that night and the next day and it was PERFECT. One day I will try the macarons because I heard they taste awesome. I wish they had an option for me to just buy 5 macarons. The lowest number that I was was like 12-14 count (I forget the number). Realistically, I wasn't gonna finish all those. All in all though - I would definitely come back to this location for a nice but casual lunch!

I came here during my trip to West Hollywood. Tried a few different things: -pepperoni pizza-10/10 -caesar salad-8/10 -raspberry chocolate dessert-7/10 The service was a little slow but the ambiance is very nice. The dessert we tried was good but where this place really shines is their pizza. It is one of the best pizzas I've ever had. It is pricey, $35, but what do you expect in West Hollywood. I liked this establishment and would definitely come back.

Our first time here for brunch and it did not disappoint! The ambiance of the restaurant, both inside and out on the patio, was so welcoming. We couldn't get over all the delicious looking pastries, I would need weeks to try them all! The food was so yummy and fresh, although a couple of our plates arrived a little cold, hence minus one star. Since they were eggs they needed to be sent back for a little warming. I had the smoked salmon eggs Benedict on hash instead of English Muffins, I loved it! Our friends had omelette and hubby had the amazing French toast. We also split a pancake soufflé and I couldn't believe what a delicacy it was. The service was always very friendly, always kept checking in on us and answered all our menu questions as first timers. Although we're in OC I know we'll be back.

Many many years ago, we visited Bottega Louie's downtown location and just did not care for it. Partly due to the price and possibly due in part to the fact that maybe we just didn't know any better when it came to French pastries? But also there's a chance Botteha Louie has improved since then. Anyways, I was in the area and wanted to stop by to give them another chance after a decade. Staff was so incredibly nice. The hostess was kind, the cashier was very friendly and made sure to get my drink request to the barista, and the barista was a great soul. I ordered three macarons - Pistachio - excellent flavor, not bitter, slightly sweet, and great texture. Very nutty Chocolate - wow this was outstanding. Decadent and rich with a slight bitterness to cut through the sweetness Grand cru - this was good but nothing to write home about. Just a simple chocolate. I also tried the Chocolate Orange cannoli. The shell was so light and crispy, the cream was flavorful and rich, and the chocolate dipped ends with the candied orange pieces were the perfect first and last bites. I asked for a White chocolate matcha but not too sweet, so the cashier made sure to put that in the notes and the barista did a great job making it. Great matcha flavor and blend with a touch of white chocolate so it's not overly sweet.
